Today I turn 35. It's a milestone on the way to the big 40 the home stretch of the 30's.

In the past year the following major events have happened.

• I had a baby son
• I changed jobs to go work for SSW - "Sydneys best ASP.NET and SQL OLAP" developers
• I bought a house, not a unit or townhouse but a block of land with grass and a garden. Lots of reno pictures will be the order of the day
• I sold my unit. Couldn't fathom having 2 large mortgages in this crazy world
• Presented at 4 user groups (Wollongong .NET User Group WDNUG/Sydney.NET User Group), 2 Tech Breakfasts and 1 Code Camp. I plan on doing more, keep an eye on SSW's Conference and Training
• Taught SQL Server 2005 Short Course and ASP.NET Short Courses at UTS
• Went to one great SQL OLAP and BI training course (which was last week. I've got a few posts coming on this)
• Gave up my Warcraft Addiction
• Replaced it with XBox360 last weekend because the voices keep on telling me to play Grand Theft Auto IV
• Got addicted to Facebook - See Justin King's Facebook profile
• Got addicted to Twitter - See Justin King on Twitter, however I'm getting over this addiction due to all the outages
• Gave up coffee for 3 days. Felt miserable for 3 days!

A big thanks to my wife Jody who spends her day looking after Oliver. I know it's hard being a full time mum but you are doing a great job! 

But seriously it's been a crazy year and hence the last 2 weeks haven't posted much.

I've been working on a new blog which I should get up shortly and those posts I've been working on will get published then.

Plus I'm old enough to have owned one of these and thought the graphics were mindblowing in my youth :)
