I personally didn't even know that it was pushed back a week, so an email communication from Microsoft was a great thing to get.
The next thing that I noticed was that the suggested method of testing the change was appeared a little odd.
I'm not sure how long the following website took to make http://www.microsoft.com/australia/athome/daylightsaving/default.aspx but to do the following to check to see if I have a hotfix installed and change your details to the correct timezone seems to be crazy.
Why not just build a quick little app that tests if hotfix is installed, if not then install it and have a dialog display what your current settings are.
I can immediately see from here I have the hotfix installed as it clearly says that daylight savings ends on April 6th and my timezone is Sydney.
In all the years of daylight savings changes I've never seen a solution done this way
Maybe I just prefer to automate things. See kids this is why you have your patches up to date, if you don't then you deserve what happens to your machine when your calendar tells you that you have an appointment at 3pm that really was 2pm or was that 4pm?
